Making ice cream with dry ice is INSANE! ✨Recipe: Ingredients: • ½ cup heavy cream • 2 tbsp condensed milk • ¼ cup chocolate or strawberry syrup • 1 large block of dry ice Directions: 1. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and your choice of chocolate or strawberry syrup until smooth. Refrigerate while preparing the dry ice. 2. Place the block of dry ice on a sturdy wooden surface. Set a flat-bottomed bowl or plate with a thin layer of water on top of the dry ice and let it sit until a shallow indentation forms. Remove the bowl or plate. 3. Carefully pour a small amount of water into the indentation and allow it to bubble and sublimate completely. 4. Once the bubbling stops, use a paper towel to absorb the remaining water, lifting away the thin layer of ice that forms. It should separate cleanly from the dry ice. 5. Repeat the process of adding water, allowing it to sublimate, and removing the ice until you've created a bowl-shaped cavity about ½ inch deep. 6. Pour the chilled ice cream mixture into the cavity. Using two spoons, continuously fold, and churn the mixture against the freezing surface until it thickens into a smooth, soft-serve consistency. 7. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy this eye-catching ice cream made with the power of dry ice! ⚠️ Safety Warning: Dry ice is extremely cold (-109°F / -78°C) and should never be touched with bare hands or ingested directly. Always use insulated gloves or tongs when handling, work in a well-ventilated area, and keep away from kids and pets.
