There’s been a lot of talk lately about CM Punk’s improved physique and the usual speculation that comes with it. Is he on steroids? TRT? HRT? The reality is nobody knows except him and the medical professionals involved, if any. One thing people should remember is that we live in a time where photos and videos can be edited, enhanced, filtered, and even altered with AI. Lighting, angles, camera lenses, editing, and AI tools can make people look very different from how they appear in person. Not everything we see online is an exact representation of reality. That said, when I look at Punk’s physique, I don’t see something that screams steroid abuse. I see a stronger, healthier version of his previous self. There are a lot of ways that can happen. Training heavier, improving nutrition, getting better sleep, reducing stress, improving recovery, and simply being more consistent over time can create dramatic changes in a physique. Could TRT or HRT be involved? Sure, it’s possible. But there’s a big difference between restoring hormone levels for health and quality of life and abusing performance-enhancing drugs. Having been under the WWE Wellness Program myself, I understand the rules and requirements. Personally, I don’t believe CM Punk is abusing steroids. I believe he’s likely made positive changes, and whatever he’s doing appears to be working. What I find interesting is how much body shaming exists in pro wrestling. People criticized Mason Rook for how he looked. Now people are criticizing CM Punk for improving his physique. It seems no matter what someone does, there will always be people looking for a reason to complain. Personally, I’m happy to see him looking healthy and strong. And maybe now he understands why the term “steroid guy” was never the right label for someone like me. I’ve always been against steroid abuse, but I’ve always been for optimal health and becoming the best version of ourselves. And that’s the last bite.
