I don’t think that was fair to the driver of the SUV , he didn’t hit her walking, she was already on the ground & with a Suburban he probably didn’t feel it! I’ve seen lots of people with stuff under their vehicles and don’t even know it’s there. Just saying not the drivers fault if he didn’t see her because there was a work van there where she was walking & he couldn’t see her. There’s lots of factors in this situation that show it wasn’t completely the driver at fault.

“HOW DOES SOMEONE NOT REALISE THEY HAVE HIT A PERSON?” Is a very valid question. Not a cat, a dog or a little child, a grown woman like this? There was a whole trail of blood down the block. How do you not realize you’ve hit something and stop immediately? At what speed was he going that it took him that entire block for him to realize he’d hit and was dragging something, while grown woman. My goodness!!!

It's a sad situation but the driver shouldn't be charged unless he was intoxicated he stopped and stayed at scene and is working with the investigators when ur in a big vehicle he probably didn't feel her under there.

idk yall saying suvs can't feel it i have a big suv and can feel when I hit a squirrel and also have eyes and drive at night as an Uber and have purposefully stopped from hitting many small animals no way he didn't see her unless he wasn't paying attention

I cannot imagine the trauma for her, her family, the driver… I really hope her passing was quick and she did not suffer. I know when I broke my leg, my body when into shock and I could not really feel the pain, I hope and pray the same for her. Absolutely horrible
