iPhone 17 Pro Max Storage Upgrade: From 256GB to 2TB Without Slowing Down 🚀📱✨ Ever wonder if you can upgrade your iPhone without losing performance? We took the new Stellar Orange iPhone 17 Pro Max - originally 256GB - and expanded it to 2TB in one session. No board splitting. No circuit rewiring. No throttling. Yes, it's possible. Here's how. We started by confirming storage and testing SSD speed using Disco i O: 🔹 Write: 2,572 MB/s 🔹 Read: 1,506 MB/s Fast - but could it stay that way after the upgrade? Time to dive inside. After disassembling the screen (yes, it's different from the 16 Pro), we uncovered possibly the smallest iPhone motherboard ever. The storage chip? Made by SEC. The new 2TB chip? Same brand - just thicker and more powerful. After a careful heat, clean, solder, and reflow process, we reassembled everything, flashed iOS 26.1, and reactivated the phone. The result? 💥 A fully functional iPhone 17 Pro Max with 2TB of storage - no lag, no throttling, faster write speed than before - and all without splitting the board. Oh, and we preserved the official NAND architecture. If you're in the U.S. and using a 256GB iPhone (or in Texas, Florida, or California filming 4K content non-stop), this upgrade is a game changer. You'll never see that 'Storage Full' warning again. 📢 Got questions? Drop a comment below 💾 Need more storage?
