I think people also equate carbs with refined sugar. Getting all your “carbs” from refined sugar is probably not going to make you feel better.

I think the problem is glucose intolerance and glucose spikes after eating heavy carb meals for some people. I personally was eating lots of carbs before and i was training hard and still didn’t lose weight. Once i reduced my carb intake i immediately leaned out.
