So by the time you buy all the supply and pay for the insulation at 60% markup at Home Depot or Lowe’s, you could have a company come in and do it for almost half of the cost. Insulation estimates are for free due to homework.

I don’t see any baffles so soffits can allow air in to cool underside of roof and get rid of any moisture

Do you have a YouTube video on the process. My husband is planning on doing this with a precut fiber glass insulation for our attic. This video really helped with the preparation. But I’d love to see a video, if you have it, on you both doing the diy insulation.

Good job guys! You could add an additional not faced insulation over the one you have if that is attic. Just lay it cross directions and cover studs as well. That will seal any air gaps you could still have under. R19 is a standard between first and second floor joists. R38 or higher is a minimum for attic if you want your bills low and comfortable temperature around all year around.
