What I miss about religion was the sense of community. The religion wasn’t resl but it was great to feel a part of something. Had to rediscover my purpose

So true… you are so right. At 65 I have some major regrets that I allowed Christianity to consume my decisions and my life. Some regrets. But I’m getting there. You are right about clouding the judgment concerning careers. That is some of my regrets.

Agreed. I was raised in a cult, then joined a second as a result. I only knew abusive relationships, and now have health issues i'll never get rid of. The sneaky triggers get me all the time. Im now married to an athiest and he's the kindest man with the biggest heart.
