@crmnallyobsessed: A Florida woman says she spent two terrifying hours held at gunpoint by a neighbor after he committed a double homicide in Port St. Lucie's Tropical East community on November 11. Police say Paul Maraio burst into the home of Suzie Rothermel, 77, after shooting neighbors David Gasik and Mark Golden. He then forced her to sit beside him as he ranted and waved a handgun. Rothermel told investigators she stayed calm and prayed he wouldn’t pull the trigger. Officers later found the suspect dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and the woman was rescued unharmed. The entire ordeal sprang from ongoing tensions between Maraio and the community's homeowners association. Police say Maraio, who had a sour relationship with nearly all of his neighbors, had been served an eviction notice by the HOA board and its legal counsel the morning of the shootings. #truecrime
