My husband is always so confused as to why our son keeps hiding my phone in his room and playing it when he "goes to bed". My husband literally said to him "when our parents told us to go to bed thats exactly what we did!" and I had to stand there with a straight face knowing I absolutely did not go to bed when my parents told me to and in fact played on my Nintendo ds until I physically couldn't stay awake anymore 😭

One time my mom made me think she left by very quietly slipping into the room and shutting the door… so after a moment I whipped my ds out and the light of the screen lit up her face and I screamed so loud my voice was broke the next morning lmao (to her credit, she didn’t even take my ds bc she figured the jump scare was bad enough)
