just know to anyone watching this : NOT everyone has the fetal ejection reflex even unmedicated. Lots don't. Especially as FTMs. It doesn't work for all the breathe the baby out. Not all babies are in perfect position to just slide out. Some need some pushes. Be ready for everything. If you choose to push, just be aware how hard!

Without realising I breathed my first baby out, it was like being sick he just came out, so I’m praying for that again with my second 😅😫

I went from a 4-8-10 and progressed FAST. I definitely felt this! My epidural worked about half way, and I remember telling my husband that I couldn’t help it, and he was coming! The nurse kept telling me not to push yet because the Dr wasn’t in the room yet, and I kept saying “I’m not I promise!” With every contraction I could literally feel my body pushing him out! And I described it exactly like throwing up! Like it’s happening! There’s no stopping it! 😂

This definitely confirms that my epidural didn’t work because after 3 hours of pushing and being awake for 36 hours my body just started pushing my baby out on its own 😅

I can still remember my first birth, I told the nurses that my body keeps pushing on its own. They put me on all fours to try and stop it 🤦🏻♀️

My cousin basically just laughed her daughter out after I said something dumb and funny to her 🤣 with my daughter, I was so tired and out of breath so I had to rest and catch my breath between each push and didn’t end up ripping so.. maybe I did a little bit of both

When giving birth I don't understand how women can think about these things, I honestly just did what my body was telling me to do :/ My brain was not really capable of thinking about anything.

I’ll be giving birth to my third soon and i learned about this technique when I gave birth to my second, but he came out so fast all I could do was bear down.. he was out in 4 pushes and less than 10 mins. How can I still breathe him out if he comes out like my second? (My first I had an epidural and my contractions stopped while I was pushing)
