I'm so glad I'm not the only one that pours stuff down the side of my mixer... 😂 I make a bourbon chocolate pecan pie from Southern living recipes. This will be the 17th year I've made it. There's a fight as to who gets slices of it. I didn't get a slice of it for 12 years and I'm the one who makes it.

For some reason, my pie crust (which with any other pie is light & flakey) became like shellac!! The sugar mixture seemed to sink into it & ruin it..,any ideas Shereen??
