Piracy isn't inherently bad. If it weren't for it, I wouldn't have started reading comics. For example, I first read Tom Taylor's Nightwing on a pirate site, and I recently finally completed the physical collection. Piracy is necessary. If it didn't exist, publishers would have no problem manipulating the market as they pleased, and the preservation of comics would depend entirely on these companies, which has already proven to be a bad thing. I end up buying about a third of what I read pirated. And you might think that's not much, but if I hadn't been able to read it pirated, I would never have bought the physical copies, because I refuse to invest a lot of money in an expensive hardcover collection, which, unfortunately, is often the only format in which older comics are published in my country.
