I never heard ‘heard’ until social media. We always use a mirrored callback. If six lamb and four trout get called, four lamb gets called back from the grill, and if someone else is preparing the trout, they call back four trout. It’s more accurate and specific info, and if something was mis-‘heard’, the mistake will be noticed before the food is fired. All the rest are common parlance and essential. I can do without ‘heard’
