Funnily enough in the opposite direction ward is a triggered ability so you can double up with roaming throne

fun fact, if you have a trigger doubler ward WILL also trigger twice, so throne naming something like a sauron means y gotta sac 2 legends before being able to target it

ward only triggers when it's card is a permanent and not when card is a spell on the stack waiting to be resolved. so ward wouldn't trigger in this example
