I personally think he’s know from the beginning what his plan is. Could you imagine if he quits and then Ole Miss wins the National Championship. UF’s last few seasons is nothing to bat an eye at. And LSU’s historically strong program doesn’t really matter anymore with the transfer portal. Lane is TRANSFER KING!!!! He grabbed lacy and trinidaddy out from under the ground and turned them into top CFB performers. Oxford is INFINITELY better than Gainesville and shithole baton rogue. I think he’s going to do the same thing he did to Auburn 3 years ago. Lead them on so long that they fall on their faces with the coaching search, stay at Ole Miss, then troll both UF and LSU relentlessly the next few years. IF, and that’s a big if, he leaves for one of them, it’s UF. LSU admin is a wreck right now and no one like Kiffin is walking into that mess. Especially after the way the governor was talking.
