Therapy isn’t about replaying bad thoughts over and over. It’s about learning how to understand them, challenge them, and not let them control you. The intention isn't to keep bad energy. You might feel uncomfortable for a short time, but that’s part of healing. Avoiding it doesn’t make it disappear.

Um, as a therapist, no. If you never allow yourself to actually feel your emotions, you start to train your brain and nervous system that emotions are dangerous. Therapy is about increasing your distress tolerance & learning how to let things flow
