We are on the same wavelength. I am doing this exact same thing, really working on creating a capsule wardrobe/uniform and then adding from there (Shoes, accessories etc)

Yes! I always end up regretting it when I buy something cheaper rather than the more expensive, higher quality item that I actually want.

I absolutely agree, I look for quality staple pieces at places like Meskhi. Dissh, Aritzia, and Revolve for example. I fill in with trendy pieces to keep it fresh. I look for items that dress up or down to get more bang for my buck. I shop niche perfumes brands for more curated perfume scents. Still trying to nail down quality shoes that are kitten heels.

I agree with all of your points. don't know if you're married, but the wedding industry is crazy. I see so many content creators / wedding videos that are so extravagant and sometimes my little destination wedding with 25 people seems not as good.
