Matt Murphy played with the greats Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, and Sonny Boy Williamson to name only three. He was a session player for Chess records. Steve Cropper a session player for Stax records played alongside many greats as well like Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, and Wilson Pickett to name only three. He co-wrote Sitting on the Dock of the bay.
