All day, every day, in every single city in the US this is happening. Rarely, very rarely are there any consequences for the violators. When there is any reprimand, it also usually involves taxpayers paying for their transgressions and violations of people's rights. Pretty sad state of affairs. Policing in our country.

They know they were lying Nobody called about a vehicle running in a driveway and even if they did that is something the police wouldn't be bothered with. What it is They probably suspected him of leaving his vehicle running while he ran into grab some drugs real quick because that is definitely something that they will get up your ass about. That man could have been charging his battery or put some seafoam in his car there's no telling.
