Use warm / hot water and put hydrogen peroxide it in 50/50 (1:1 ratio). We have an elephant ear washer. Best purchase ever. It is with the approval of an ENT. (Hubs has had 20 ear surgeries sees an ENT Dr. every 3-6 months and this is approved by his ENT Dr. to use when needed)

I work at an ENT, absolutely DO NOT flush your ears, it can puncture your ear drum or cause infection! Just go to an ENT please!

gah! lady... use sterile water. it is also helpful to add isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. it helps keep infection out and the peroxide bubbles help remove stuff. super important to use sterile water and add alcohol though.

Best solution, get scheduled with an ENT who can remove the wax safely. When you take objects like that, and/or let someone other than an ENT clean your ears, you risk perforating your eardrum, causing things to be much worse. It might’ve worked this time, but just take heed and let a professional clean your ear. Just a small recommendation from someone who has been an ENT nurse for 25 years.
