For those who don't know: Comfrey is a plant that can have a good affect on wound healing which involes cell regeneration, Cancer is uncontrolled cell growth. In other words Comfrey is the wrong Herb to be taking if you have Cancer, in this case it sounds like it made it worse. You also never want to apply Comfrey to open wounds because it can close a wound too quickly which can lead to the body not being able to clean the would out properly which essentially traps infection and contaminants in said wound. Comfrey can also cause Liver Damage when used incorrectly and in excess which explains the liver spots. This is a prime example of improper use of herbs. Anything can become dangerous with improper use, the difference between Medicinal Plant usage and Poison is the dosage, just like pharmaceutical medicine. Source: I'm an Herbalist with a background in basic biology, herbalism basics as well as Advanced herbal education, animal rehabilitation, animal care and nutrition, animal rescue, my mother was a Veterinary Technician, and I still plan to get further education in phytochemistry, pharmacognosy and much more! 🤍 🌿

Witches. 😂 Back in the day gorls was deemed as witches because they knew how to stop people from getting sick. One of the things was owning black cats because they are harder to see in the dark and they hunt mice. Mice made people sick sometimes being bit.

I had a midwife tell me to drink comfrey wile I was PREGNANT. I was like…no. It is so high in alkaloids. Apply topically to injuries occasionally and THATS IT
