You absolutely DO have to give ID when driving and get pulled over for a legitimate reason. Speeding is one of the most common tickets issued. The cop did the correct thing by telling the driver the reason for the stop before escalating. Speeding 55 in a 40. Going 15 over is plenty to be stopped for. Some cops keep the reason fo the stop a secret and immediately yank the person out of the car soon as they refuse without even know why they were stopped. This cop was very professional and patient. 👏
