Texas resident here. Texas did not say you could go without registration. they said to use the online system. she has no way to pay for damages if involved in an accident. she definitely needs insurance. it completely sucks that the cop had to take away the car.

im from Texas and its true the registration story. without insurance, it's a different story.. but she didn't lie about Texas giving long extensions for registrations.

The law is the law. Do it for one you have to do it for all. Plus no insurance n wrecks it its all on our insurances. This officer did the right thing. Simple as that. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I wish they had abandoned parking lots where people could park/ live in their cars but not move them. It would help us homeless so much and keep us contained and off the road.
