when children are 'extremely difficult' might mean something is up could be her hormones, struggling in school, bullied etc

You’re doing amazing. Teenage girls are like this, be her friend but don’t let her push boundaries with you. She still needs to respect you. she will come back to you and regret this so much in her 20s. Saying this from experience. Teenage girls are tough

Parents need to understand that children should be given age-appropriate responsibilities from a young age, because waiting until they’re older is often too late.

The mistake you making is not making them help. Never to young to start. And do what you say.

My niece is 12 and I definitely notice how she is more moody/hormonal compared to my nephew for example. I think it’s their hormones and also i remember myself at that age everything seems like it’s the end of the world, battling insecurities etc

Im only 17 but I’d say U need to teach her that she has to start doing things herself, chores, waking up etc my youngest sister (10) is the same and I keep telling my mum she needs to start doing things for herself as she’s starting secondary soon even if at the start she doesn’t want to js leave her like it’s their own consequences honestly hearing the shouting and screaming every morning is so jarring as the other siblings ig js like letting them realise they have to be independent or start being independent

Icl I was an awful teenager believe I knew better, wanting freedom, thinking I was untouchable (not knowing I had a mh disorder) however, my mum struggled with me so much, i blamed her for my mh disorder and was angry with her so I took out my fustrations. But now as I’m older she’s the first person I want to call, I appreciate her so so much and the sacrifices she made and till this day I’m so ashamed that I never showed her in my teenage years just how much I truly appreciate her. She’s my best friend now. I’m writing this because hopefully one day she will recognise just how much you did for her and how much you care 🥹. You’re doing great!

If she was not like this before its most likely her hormones, being a teen is not easy. Set clear boundaries and apply consequences but keep in mind that she is also losing some control over her own emotions and she might be just as confused as you
