You must include efficiency of the panels. Most are 70% efficient. For 400W you will need 4 of them. 400*70%= 280W. The panels should be able to charge the battery and provide enough power for the load during the day. At least 4 panels of 550W are required for a 5Kw battery.

you dont need 3 solar panels. your target should be usage and battery charging. during the 5hours of sunlight you will need usage and battery charge
