I honestly loved zeref. he was such a bean who hated being a villain but he knew he had to die in order for there to be peace, he had to die so there was no risk of others dying and he was miserable and tired of having to isolate and be alone, he was suffering. but he cared so much which is why his curse was so cruel 😭 when it comes to the "would you trust them to hold your drink ft edition" with zeref the answer is absolutely yes
