I live in Alabama now but lived in Dallas Texas for 40 years. Traveled a lot. As Hank Williams said in one of his songs “you could send me to Hell or New York City and it would be about the same to me.” Alabama is clean, world class healthcare at UAB. Major source of NASA rocket technology in Huntsville which is also the headquarters for Space Force. The beaches at Orange beach and Gulf Shores are second to none. State GDP is over $300 BB which ranks in the top half of the 50 States. Don’t know where the AI creator for this post got their data but I strongly suspect that someone from Georgia had something to do with this post as they can’t beat is on the football field

I don't know the economic situation for all of Kentucky, but I can tell you that Northern Kentucky is expensive as hell. Alot of the wealthy people who work in downtown Cincinnati, OH live on the Kentucky side because of great safe neighborhood's.
