So I made baby blocks and I used a glue gun to put the wood together then went through the seems with gorilla glue twice

Put like a dowel type piece around the barrier, it’ll give sort of a lip to connect them.

Use wood pallets and glue them together cut the pallets down to size spray paint them black to mask the lines from the pallets then glue the bubbles around it?

You could use the same method that they use for the diy ikea cube mirror side table. They have thick wood that’s hidden inside to create a base. I definitely recommend looking it up.
