@dave_and_danni: POV: Meeting the man who’s literally about to delete my insecurities with a scalpel 😂💗 The Day Before Surgery for my Tummy Tuck meeting with the Dr who was performing my operation. Feels so surreal, still hasn’t hit me that tommorrow I go under the knife and when I wake up my excess skin from my 5 pregnancies and weight loss will not be there. I’ll be a new woman 🧍‍♀️ I am so excited and although people constantly have told me I don’t need this operation, and may think I’m being vain they don’t understand that everyday it holds me back, I don’t swim in my togs with my kids cause I’m embarrassed of my excess skin and it makes me feel ugly on the inside and out. Even though I’m constantly given complements. I’m doing this for me, I’ve raised my kids and they have all grown into amazing people and now it’s time to do something for me and finally at 47 I don’t care what other people think, they don’t live in my shoes and whilst some people may think I’m being lazy by opting for a tummy tuck they don’t see me struggle for years with my weight. They don’t see how hard I train at the gym, how even though I count my calories and eat my protein and get more then my required steps in each day and I can go to the gym 7 days a week, that no matter how hard I work my skin won’t stretch back and I’m not chasing perfection I’m chasing the feeling of being comfortable in my own skin and don’t we all deserve that ❤️ I have documented this journey so that women who are thinking about having a tummy tuck especially in another country can see my journey, see my results, hear my story - the good and the bad and hopefully help with any questions anyone has.
