@ritsdiaries: 📍 Law Library at the University of Zurich A hidden gem I discovered while exploring Zurich. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, he transformed the historic inner courtyard of the Law Faculty into a spectacular library. Its architecture unfolds as a gentle spiral of light and wood. Six curving balconies rise toward an oval glass dome, where daylight filters softly through a delicate brise-soleil. The space feels suspended between past and present. Completed in 2004, this renovation is considered one of his most elegant architectural interventions in an academic setting 🎞️ #fyp #architecture #design #switzerland #architect
