we burned a big brush pile when my son was really young and he got poison ivy head to toe from the smoke, that's how we learned he was allergic

My dad made the mistake of burning poison ivy in a huge brush pile one time. It’s been 25 years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in that amount of discomfort since and we’ve been through a lot lol
