@michelle_griff: There is no answer. That’s the hardest part. You have to find a way to cope through it. There is nothing else for it. You need to allow your body to heal the way you would if you broke your leg you would need time for the bone to heal before you could exercise again. It takes time and more patients than you thought possible. #b12deficiency #chronicillnessawareness #perniciousanemia

Is mine too low? I'm sure it is as I noticed I got 171 on my bloods, but gp hasn't said a word about it and is apparantely in 'normal range'. Reason I had bloods was to see if anything is causing my anxiety etc but only thing they have called me back about is that my iron was too high x

Hi Michelle, I had a question about derealization and physiological anxiety (the body being constantly on high alert). When did you start noticing improvement? Thank you, have a great day 😘

my b12 was really low in July had all the systems they only gave me tablet form . did another test after a 3 month course was improved but not by much. im currently in hospital after losing the use of my legs and arms only just started walking with aid after a week. theyve done spinal fluid tests and all sorts. Just wondering if it gets better as this all kicked off with a viral infection attaching my nervous system.

Think it depends on how long it’s been left untreated and how much damage has been done. It takes time and it can be draining waiting for you to finally feel better. I have the same thing but was only diagnosed last year. Injections every ten weeks plus folic acid daily

Wait, so what IS the protocol like? Are you just taking injections or what because I want to also like naturally be able to absorb without depending on the one percent from pills so symptoms don’t get worse. Also, did you have a regular period?? please talk about this more

had b12 deficiency back in 2018, had 6 injection over 3 weeks, the pills didn't help because of gastro issues. I was allowed another 2 injections then we went into lock down and was then refused any more. I have never fully recovered from it, it is now at the lowest of the recommended level and they wont help again.
