Jakke Haes :
The fact that Marwa was super affectionate towards Guillermo right after Nandor wishes for "Marwa to like all of the things that he liked" just proves how Nandor felt.

story (1D’s version) :
hated that Guillermo gave up being a vampire- hated that the only real Nandermo was in a dream sequence- hated Nandor randomly liking the guide- hated that Guillermo stopped being a sassy vampire hunter- i wish the last season didn’t exist & they just left it up to the imagination

The thing is, this show is so pro-LGBT I thought I could trust them with this. Like I had no suspicion that they were qbaiting. I fr felt betrayed by the way they handled this relationship.

The gaslighting from the creators that this subtext was all in our heads was Johnlock all over again.

I was fine with Guillermo not being a vampire cause the reason he wanted to be one was to be cool and amazing. I thought they were gonna do an arc of him learning that he is actually cool and badass without being a vampire…. THEN THEY DID NOTHING 😭

It’s worst when you know the actors were open about the idea of a romantic relationship

It’s crazy how the writers deny anything was supposed to happen between them when that was clearly what they were building up to the whole series!!!!

It really feels like at the end of season 3 into season 4 they were building romantic tension. they had that Mr and Mrs Smith fight scene, then they were going to travel the world together, then when Marwa was made to like what Nandor liked and she absolutely loved Guillermo 🥹🥹🥹 but the writers seemed to change their mind :(

BuhmFluff :
I think a lot of people misinterpret their relationship as romantic when really it’s companionship. There’s still love but it’s not romantic love and the ending shows us Guillermo accepting that.
