Sometimes the movies aren’t even lds coded but the church/ family or members, take the movie and twist everything they can about it to frame it as lds. I find it really ironic though given the current political climate of Christianity/ Mormonism and how ironic it is that they paint themselves as these saint akin to the movies when the movies and characters are nothing like what is being voted for. Examples I think of are like Superman/batman. They claim these hero’s are good and love them and what they stand for but vote against the beliefs of the characters. Superman is an illégal alien LITERALLY. Batman as Bruce Wayne is EXTREMELY pro welfare and helping the poor. All super hero’s have beliefs that directly contradict so many twisted current beliefs. The church is too involved in politics and it directly contradicts what so many Christian’s/ Mormons are now perpetrating and preaching. I’ve never heard a superhero tell a woman to cover up and that an assault was her fault. I’ve never witnessed in a comic book, a hero tell anyone that they don’t work hard enough, they are at fault for the bad things happening to them, they are to blame for being assaulted or hurt.
