Oh honey, no no no. Run a cycle to clean it with some baking soda and vinegar. Then you need to clean if you have one of them small agitator things you gotta take that plate off and clean underneath it cause there is a lot of nasty ass gunk that built up under there. Also 2 tablespoons of detergent no more because that’s what’s getting all gunked up in the washer making it stink. I’ve been using 2 tablespoons now for over four years and my washer and clothes never stink anymore.

I’m 65 years old and have always just used a splash of white vinegar in my laundry. It’s no secret, no magic trick and, you don’t have to do anything special. Plain white vinegar..and, it’s cheap!
