Missy, i knowingly applied for a role where the posted salary range is below my desired salary. I've now been asked if I'm flexible on salary (as i wrote what i wanted in my app). Is it typical that an employer can exceed their posted range if the candidate is very impressive through the process?

I was told that hiring for entertainment industries really slows down after thanksgiving and picks back up in Q1 with new company budgets, is this true? for context I do social media marketing / video production for companies and am hoping to land a new job in NYC or LA

I’m a 62 year-old RN whose position was eliminated in a managed care organization after 16 years. I was getting interviews and now it’s come to a sudden stop. I have to believe it’s because they’re currently going through open enrollment with Medicare and don’t know what their volume is gonna be next year. Really frustrated and I think I probably need to take a step back just for a few weeks. I don’t know what else to do. People were reaching out and now nothing.
