@bikinibitesbyk: The only Mac and Cheese recipe you’ll need for thanksgiving & I wont gatekeep it! ✨CREAMY BAKED MAC & CHEESE RECIPE: Ingredients: • 1 lb pasta • 8 oz Colby Jack, freshly grated • 8 oz Mozzarella, freshly grated • 8 oz Sharp Cheddar, freshly grated • 5 tbsp unsalted butter • 9 garlic cloves, minced • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour • ½ cup pasta water Heavy Cream Sauce: • 2 ½ cups heavy cream • 4 oz cream cheese • 2 tsp paprika • 2 tsp garlic powder • 2 tsp onion powder • ¼ tsp chili powder • 2 tbsp hot sauce • 1 tsp black pepper • ½ - 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste) Instructions: 1. Make the seasoned cream mixture: Whisk all the “Heavy Cream Sauce” ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Let it warm and slightly simmer but don’t let it boil. 2. Build the roux: In a large pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 2–3 minutes. Add flour and whisk for another 2–3 minutes. 3. Pour your warm heavy cream mixture into the pan with the roux. Mix well. Add the pasta water and mix again until smooth. 4. Add all the cheese: Pour in all your freshly grated cheeses and stir on low-medium heat until completely melted and creamy. 5. Taste test: Adjust salt or seasoning if needed. Add in your boiled pasta and mix until fully coated. 6. Bake: Transfer to a baking dish. Add extra cheese on top if you want a crust. Bake at 350°F for 15–20 minutes. Then broil for 1–2 minutes just until the top is golden (keep an eye so it doesn’t burn!) 7.
