My daughter works in a refinery and has never had an experience like this all of her coworkers look at her as a little sister and has never had a problem with any of them which I’m thankful for. Not all men but most and I get that as women we always have to keep our guard up. And she doesn’t take any crap from anyone you just have to stand your ground and they will respect you.

My bf is a welder his whole crew not even just welders but their company wore blue today to support her the had a moment of silence during their morning safety meetings and that’s why every chance I get I tell them and any blue, white,pink collar worker how much I respect them… rip to this beautiful girl I’m 20 and so is my bf he and I have protected plenty of people whom needed our help and we will continue to do so because those other “men” she worked with should’ve protected her too

My first job in the trades was in a refinery. my crew didn’t let me go anywhere alone, especially when the travelers rolled in. They opened my eyes up to risks that I was too young to know were there yet. Rip amber you deserved better
