@pikabear: Bear was with me through so many things, I watched Tarzan while holding her before she could even see and my grandparents took her in, shortly after she watched me start middle school, helped me through loss, and slept on a couch with me when everything seemed to be crumbling down around us, she was always excited to see me, and I her because she was my one constant. After pap passed she came to live with us and she watched me graduate highschool while we navigated more loss together and then college as I changed. I went from a shy 10 year old to an official adult but I never stopped needing her, and I didn't notice that she had been changing too. She passed on October 18th 2025 while I was away from home and she was buried before I got back. I'll miss having her pressed against my legs every night and searching under covers to find her during the day. Hopefully wherever she is has plenty of other pets and family (and covers) for her to snuggle until I get to see her again, forever My Girl.
