I’ve been on 10 cruises and the only recommendations I can make it to get the drink package 100% and don’t try and plan your days at sea that tightly. There’s going to be so many things on the ships schedule but the key to it all is going with the flow. Mardi Gras is a beautiful and fun ship, enjoy bro! Very well deserved for you and the wifey

The Mardi Gras is a nice ship, big but good!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND GUYS BURGERS!!! The best burger you’ll have at sea, outside of that there’s just so much to do on the ship that possibly you’ll enjoy :) also wake up before the sunrise at sea, get some coffee and sit on the pool deck and it’s amazing🙌🏻

Excited for you! Been cruising for 10 years. Cruise tips: the walls in your room are metal, so order a couple packs of magnetic hooks from Amazon (great for hanging your hats). Get some dirty laundry bags to collect all of your dirty clothes in your room. I use motion sickness patches, new one behind my ear every day. Bring some tumblers and fill up your own ice water to bring to bed. Liquid IV and emergen-C packs, keeps you hydrated while you’re taking down your 15 drinks per day. Lastly, once you’re a couple days in and assed out and maybe won’t tackle 15 drinks in that day, bring your girl’s beach bag and go get beers anyway (they don’t open them) and bring them back to your room fridge - it helps on days when you’re hitting your 15 limit and out!
