Coach employee here…she’s absolutely correct. My outlet store has a retail bags but only the really popular bags like the Tabby and the Brooklyn.

As someone that used to work for coach this is all accurate except we got weekly shipments from the retail store of bags that didn’t sell as well/were discontinued. These bags all had to go straight to the clearance section of the store, they were never put out in the displays. You can also tell if it is a retail or factory bag by the style number on the inside leather patch of the bag, if it starts with an ‘f’ that bag was made for the factory, without the ‘f’ is a retail bag 😉

I still DONT understand why Coach is soooo Boujie and stuck up towards THEIR OWN PRODUCTS!!! its unreal. I recently bought a large rowan and thought about getting it personalized/customized with the pins so I called a Coach store and they said "they are not allowed to touch the outlet bags". Mind you that I bought it straight from Coach....but apparently outlet bags aren't good enough for you to get the pins put on OR get the hangtags personalized either at Coach. That made me rethink about buying Coach again cause how can you be prejudice against your own Products????
