I’ve had this happen so many times, beats headphones AirPods most recently, they credited me the full item amount back and sent me a replacement for no cost. I will say this the shipping is gettin ridiculous we pay for prime which was 2-3 days now it’s 5-7 days or longer so often

They tell me I’ll get the credit and then I don’t so when I complain, they tell me they didn’t say that or that whoever told me that was misinformed and they’re sorry. Amazon customer service is bullshit and honestly, so is paying for Prime.
