I've worked with HIPAA for 20 years. A violation only happens if the recording captures protected health information (PHI), such as patient details like faces, voices, medical conditions, or treatments, and is made or handled by a covered entity, like hospital staff, without proper safeguards, consent, or authorization. However, hospital staff can legally ask a disruptive person to leave and issue a trespass notice if they refuse, treating the facility as private property.

This man has violated no HIPPA laws nor STATE laws nor Country laws. It is in the admendments to allow public recording in any facility around the country. HIPPA will only be violated if he were to take videos of peoples information sheets, not their faces. I love this man for knowing exactly what to say without ecalating it. good job bro
