My grandma only has her old ceramic starter jug and her hands and it’s the best sourdough I’ll ever have lol these are nice to have but 100% not necessary.

I practice chaos baking ✨ no scale, no specific whisk, no tracking my starter except with my eyes, my paring knife works for scoring. Oh and I wing it when adding ingredients. Guess what…perfect bread every single time ✨

I feed my starter twice a day and change the jar each time. I use weck jars. A spoon is good for scooping, a chop stick is perfect for stirring.

ok seriously, i use an old soup container, a fork, a scale that is missing the plate, any bowl, a towel, and i am lucky enough that my mom already had a dutch oven. YOU DO NOT NEED THIS
