Multiculturalism is Americas greatest strength. Breaking bread with people who think differently, live differently, and function in different beliefs make us better people. It only works if we are open to seeing the world has many different variations of life that are beautiful. My life would not be nearly as rich and beautiful without it.

lack of diversity breeds ignorance and one dimensional mindsets... which is why racism exists. Everyone needs a level of diversity to see life for what it really is... I think it is a blessing to experience homogeneous societies but I think diversity is more beneficial. Diversity will surprise others with how much they bave in common with ppl who are still vastly different from them

have you visit Malaysia? we are multicultural country.. we live to each other everyday. we walk, we talk, we friend, we hang out with diff races. we have 3 major races in Malaysia. Malay, Chinese and Indian and so many minor races but we never felt strange to each other even though we are diff in religion, cultures and traditions. and we have many expats too including korea and japan. we cherish and welcoming everyone. and even Malaysia is a muslim country. but we never being racist towards each others. we also have 3 types of school which is the main one tht all people can go in, 2nd one is chinese school and also last one is tamil school.everyone can choose their school. come and see by yourself how we live in multicultural country and you will have another perspective of what is multicultural. 😊

What do you even mean? Multiculturalism didn't change Europe. It SHAPED Europe. Right wing politics and racism changed it, just like in America. Stay open and free of prejudice, keep reforming your society to include all groups. It's the fear of diversity and the closed minds that are dangerous to society in the end.

Deffinetly has advantages but in Europe you can witness how it destroys whole cultures. I think Korea should stay like it is. And if Korea wanna be more open to foreign immigrants they should definitely check who they letting in their country. If u bring cultures that dont wanna integrate and causing problems the country will end up like Europe.

Having many cultures within a country can be good, but it brings many complex problems because people come with the habits and customs of their countries and they don't want to adapt to those of the countries where they are.

In 30 years, Korea will not exist. The fertility rate is very low. You will hire foreign workers and there will be no culture left. Japan will be in the same situation.

Are you saying that emigration by other nationalities into Europe is detrimental to homogeneous others? Maybe if we focused more on peaceful coexistence rather than on violent conflict, we would be able to sustain all of our normative differences. 🙏

yes I'd been thinking about it too.Its nice with multiculturalism and in the best of worlds if it could work it would be great. But reality its different and with multiculture comes alot of problems too,it is so sad but reality

I think multiculturalism is both America’s strength and weakness. Our lives are so much richer because so many cultures share the same communities, at the same time a lot of our tensions come from people not being willing to understand and accept differences in skin color, perspectives, and traditions.

I mean, it absolutely depends on how you treat multiculturalism: if you accept it but confine it as ghettos then integration never happens and it causes problems. integration is key, and support for equality too.

I think we can learn and share culture without any problem but, we should do it with respect and values. I have friends from different cultures and it’s nice to see how they respect where i come from and i respect them. I am visiting Korea on June and i have made my assignment about what things i can and can’t do, why? Because i want to enjoy my trip and see all those beautiful places it has without making anyone uncomfortable. Knowing that my culture is totally different than mine. 🥰

Whether it’s good or bad, Korea cannot maintain its homogeneous society bc of the birth rate. They have to accept foreigners or their economy will tank.
