I don’t think that’s what they’re talking about.They’re talking about the yukata (like a summer kimono) that they give you in traditional ryokans.They’re like a robe,so one size fits all.

As a huskier Asian American who regularly travels to Asia, I learned long ago that Asian sizes do not work for me 😂🤣. So I definitely bring everything even though the hotels technically provide everything

If you are a medium or smaller, that’s true, but if you are any bigger than that, it’s a definite risk to rely on the free pjs

They’ve been different at every hotel for me. I’m not tiny, but haven’t had an issue yet, thankfully. Also, maybe see what the men’s looks like?

I didn’t expect the pjs to fit me at the capsule hotels. (I wore a size 20 last year). All of them fit me, but I needed their largest sizes.
