Bro check this account out they’re documenting a MASPE protocol on a 47 year old woman they’re doing slow turns and it fully worked she didn’t even get a gap and it successfully expanded I think u should consider maspe over retrying Marpe @tmjsleepandbreathecenter

Should just do MASPE with 6-8 TADs + piezo cut and corticonomy. Slow protocol. That's how males get their splits. SARPE is less predictable and more invasive. I'm surprised they didn't do piezo cut like that doesn't even make sense as a male adult

GUYS, do I need palatal expanders, I'm 18 and I already have a gap in my front two teeth, I have some problems breathing and closing mouth while sleeping, especially with the crooked nose and deviated semptume.....

i had a marpe for 4 months at 25 & it worked but it was the most miserable thing i’ve ever done (& i’ve had 2 jaw surgeries)

also if your doing it to assend ensure your eye spacing is high because marpe widens cheekbones to make eyes appear closer

did you not get a cortocotemy? i just got my MARPE taken out 2 weeks ago, 37f w/ 6 tads + cortocotemy, in for 7m, gained 1cm. maybe you need a different doctor?

I’m 23 and I have a slight cross bite but because it’s not much, my expander isn’t much for the split it’s more for controlled dental expansion but also I’m an Asian women and I’ve seen some studies say we biologically age slower so maybe a split will happen but in my case that’s just an added bonus if it happens
