To everyone saying “actually he was Jewish!”, he was Judean. The location of judea is what is now Palestine. Judeans obviously come from Judea and if Judea was literally located in what’s now Palestine, he would be considered Palestinian by modern standards. In fact there’s still a big Jewish population in Palestine.

Guys Jesus is from what we know NOW as Palestine, even if it had a different name back then. It’s not an argument of geographical importance, it’s correctly stating that Jesus would be a darker person since no matter what you call it, it’s still a place with high UV ratings and where most people have melanin because of the climate.

Cleopatra was white because she descended from elsewhere. However the Egyptians of her time were 100% Nubian colored. Jesus was brown skin as he was described this way in the Bible. A long time ago an artist portrayed Jesus to look similar to a soldier of his time and the painting grew popular. I hope I just made that easy to understand

I agree! The concept of cleopatra getting praised for conquering Egypt is also crazy as of many other black women hadn’t ruled over Egypt ( For example Amanirenas one of the eight Queen Mothers of Kush) but because she is racially white that’s all American history books will allow!

There were no “ Palestinians” when Jesus was alive. During his lifetime, his native country was called Judea, and the people of Judea were called Jews. The Roman Empire didn't change the name of Judea to “Syria-Palestina” until 100 years after Jesus' death

To clarify: Judaea was part of what the Romans had colloquially already been calling Palaestina, since the Greeks had called it Palaistinê, because the Ancient Egyptians called it “Peleset”. Later, it would formally be part of a territory called “Syria-Palaestina”. Jews were largely considered to be residents of Palaestina, and therefore were considered “Palestinians”, as were other groups in the area, such as Edomites, Nabataean Arabs, etc. Indeed, there were European Christian writings over a millennia later that referred to Ashkenazim as “Palestinians living among us”.
