Introducing something genuinely different from G-Shock. This is the GSW-H1000 — Casio’s first and only dive into the smartwatch world, powered by WearOS. It keeps the full G-Shock toughness you’d expect, but pairs it with proper smartwatch capability. The case is large and rugged, but it wears better than you’d think thanks to the sculpted design. It really does feel like a tank on the wrist — solid, confident and ready for anything. One of the standout features is the dual-layer display. Casio uses a monochrome, always-on layer for timekeeping and essential info, and a full-colour LCD underneath for apps, maps, training screens and smartwatch functions. The switch between the two helps save battery without losing visibility, giving you both clarity and endurance. Beyond the display, the watch is packed with tech: GPS built-in, optical heart-rate sensor, altitude/barometer/compass, activity tracking for running, cycling, swimming and more, and the full WearOS ecosystem for notifications, apps and customisation. It’s shock-resistant, 200m water-resistant and finished with that familiar G-Shock armour. In short, it’s a true hybrid — the toughness of a G-Shock with the capability of a smartwatch, all wrapped in a design that stands out without feeling over the top.
