I always have a made up little story when they say how’s your day been something relatable like: I have a friend coming from interstate I haven’t seen for a long time and I’m really excited so I’m planning where to eat tonight. ( and then have a restaurant name ready)

I love what you bring, however, not many "do" the small talk. I've had several interviews with no small talk they have their outline and set of questions, so how do we work through the rigidity.

I had 2 interviews with a company a couple of months ago. Interview 1, with two hiring mgrs, went great! One of the people walked me out, she actually said, "We both loved you and are looking forward to working with you!" When I interviewed with their boss, I could tell she immediately did not like me and I did not get the job. 🤔

I have the qualifications, I’m GREAT at my job and I have years of experience but my only problem is small talks and convincing people that I’m a good fit. Man I struggle so much with this. I’ve gone to 11 interviews last year alone and I’m still without a job.
